F 35 jets are also not a strategic option due to the shifting sands of US attitudes on Pakistan. Not sure Turkey is as moderate a player as suggested; or that India will squander it’s present strategic autonomy by moving for outright US military blocs.
Actually the US and the Chinese maynot necessarily adversaries here.
