The NHS in the UK is regulated and perhaps one of the most regulated in the world. The Car Quality Commission regulates NHS Trusts (Hospitals, Mental Health, Community Health and Ambulance Services and Monitor regulates Trusts that have progressed to ‘Foundation’ status. Our Drugs, and Research facilities are regulated and our professions are also regulated. Other systems also exist like the Ombudsman mentioned in the report. The NHS is regulated but unfortunately mistakes happen.

In all health systems some risk lies with the patient but a recent study by the American based Commonwealth Institute demonstrated the UK NHS as being the best out of the 11 counties it surveyed with the USA being the worsed.

If you do not reflect the truth then your form of media becomes nothing but waste material.
