It does not mention the 2010 formation of the first coalition government for 75 years following an inconclusive general election in which the public showed little enthusiasm for any of the mainstream parties. It does not mention the British government falsifying evidence in order to secure consent for the Iraq war. It does not talk about the demographic trends, and the immigrant population figures given and highly debatable. It does not talk about the increasing gap between the political class and the British electorate.

The article makes the truly absurd claim that that UKIP carefully avoids the term “immigration”, when in fact immigration is now being widely discussed and features in the media and political discourse almost every day. The article even implies that Steven Wolfe is xenophobic without mentioning that he is of mixed race.
