Louie Dean Valencia-Garcia, an assistant professor of digital history at Texas State University, joins “Right Rising” to discuss how far-right movements create counternarratives to accepted understandings of history.
Along with host Augusta Dell’Omo, he takes on a deep dive into how the far right’s “alt histories” circulate all over the globe and the role that historians play in combating that spread. Valencia-Garcia also introduces us to a new segment of “Right Rising” that provides short, deep dives into the history of the far right.
