Trisha Das is an author and award-winning documentary filmmaker. She is the author of 鈥淢s Draupadi Kuru: After the Pandavas鈥� (Harper Collins India, 2016), 鈥淭he Mahabharata Re-imagined鈥� (Rupa & Co, 2009), 鈥淭he Art of the Television Interview鈥� (UNESCO, 2007) and the internationally-acclaimed 鈥淗ow to Write a Documentary Script鈥� (UNESCO, 2006). Das has written and directed over 40 documentaries in her filmmaking career. She won an Indian National Film Award in 2005 and was the UGA鈥檚 鈥淚nternational Artist of the Year鈥� in 2003. Her films have been broadcast and screened on the Discovery Channel, the STAR Network, NDTV, Doordarshan, in Indian and international film festivals, university campuses and conferences all over the world.
