Djein Vacari is a Moldovan journalist working between Tbilisi and Moldova. She writes for Scena9, covering human rights, gender-based violence, queer rights and social change across Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus. Previously, she reported for diez.md and was editor-in-chief of its Russian-language edition. Her work has been recognized by the prestigious Superscrieri Awards. Djein’s reporting often explores justice, democracy and equality, with a special focus on women and marginalized communities.
