Christoph Sponsel is a doctoral student in political science at the University of Oxford. His research focuses on the causes, dynamics and consequences of protests and political violence in Latin America. Besides several years of working in the private sector, Christoph has worked at the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Bogot谩 and the German Embassy in Quito. He holds degrees from Yale, Cambridge and the Barcelona School of Economics.
